Is there a way to get free shipping without the premium membership? It is showing up as $14.10 when I go to checkout.

Good Amplifier
I use it for my crawson motion actuators

This is a pro amp. So no banana plugs.
The fan is too noisy for me. Definitely need a fab mod, if this is near placed next to you.

I've got an iNuke (predecessor to the NX series). I modded it with a 140mm fan. It's practically silent now. It's been an amazing amp for two subwoofers for 7 years now.

Been looking for a class D to bring back to life an image dynamics sub. It's an ID12D4 dual 4 ohm vc 350w rms.

I like to overkill with amps and turn the gain down, but is this too much?

How can it produce 3000w consistently if your wall socket is 1800 watts?

It can't
Asr tested it. It produced 404watts @4ohms per channel & 234watts at 8ohs. Average peak(@1% thd) was 526 in one channel & 577 in the other.
Max power @20hrz was reduced to 268watts.
Has a loud stock cooling fan. Go with Crown XLS instead( for more $)

Behringer is the bottom of the heap in most product categories. Amps included. I have been in live sound for 30+ years and scratch my head every time a Behringer product is sold. They copied designs of other companies in the past, put cheaper parts in and called it good enough. Not a company I would personally support that is just me. Just one of many articles backing this up is found here:https://cdm.link/2009/09/on-behringers-track-record-value-and-copies/

This post reminds me that I have 2 never-used, never plugged in Behringer NX1000 left over from a project completed back in the summer. PM me if interested.

I like their interfaces if you're on a budget and the X32 is a great mixer, especially for the cost but yes most of their products don't really deserve to be called professional.

These work great as sub amps. I run mine bridged into a 18" PE box. Fan mod is a must though.

I did the mod on the older 4 x EP2500's and running them for last 15 yrs, a super great value for the money :-)

The article is just like any other read on the internet. Though there is some truth in it, all is not valid nor proven. The basic amp design has never changed, so someone has copied or referred from somewhere else and it happens in all areas of electronics, mechanics and medicines. Having said that, I have a Lab Gruppen F series touring amp that I bought probably 18 yrs ago and 4 x Behringer EP2500's and 2 x QSC 4050HD amps and none of them have failed and performed equally well until last night, if you are into this you already know the price and tech range between these. Affordability profiles and use cases do exist and so companies like Behringer have existed and flourished. I agree, this model not for all but for someone starting or just need the basic for low cost and limited warranty.

Fair enough. But now what? Ya have to finish this with "Here are two suggestion at this deal's price point."

"Cancelling" a deal is not a solution. Cancelling is never a solution.

Well go used, Reverb.com has a lot of good deals. Crown XLS, QSC anything.

If Yugo was around still and someone said hay here is a good deal on a new car, there would be a vast majority of people saying ummm no not a deal buy a used Chevy Or Ford Or etc.

Sorry I can't help you more than that. Just Uli Behringer is not a guy I would support. You want to be happy that you saved money great, save money, buy behringer. I hear their support ain't great either. And I know that for a fact. So I don't see the deal, again personal experience.

Budget for a noctua fan to upgrade this with but they're great for DIY subs. I run a um 18-22 on one and 4 PA460s on one channel of another and I rarely engage more than the first light on the front of the sub with gain maxed and avr signal low.

People have been predicting these cheap amps will explode or die in minutes of use since they came out; that hasn't happened. Most people are using them for subs, so imaginary audiophile benefits to far more expensive amps don't matter-just feed them enough power for the bass you need.

You will want a minidsp 2x4hd and umik1 if you do go for DIY subs. You could alternatively get the dsp model of this, but the minidsp is more feature rich.
