I just finished it last week.

I went in without having heard anything about it (only played it because I got the sequel for free in a ps5 bundle).

I fell in love with it right away. The protagonist and the story feel very "fresh" to me. I feel like it avoids a lot of the typical story tropes you see in video games. The protag is a strong female lead yet the story is never preachy. It has the feel of a fresh self-contained new IP (which this was for the game studio).

Gameplay is good. It does have an Assassin's Creed feel but the story allows it to stand apart enough that it doesn't feel derivative. Includes a resource management angle (needing to constantly craft ammo and manage raw material space) which is VERY nicely balanced: makes you consider ammo/resources without detracting from the fun.

I put 90 hours into it, which is the longest game I've played in a while and I felt that it was worth every bit.
