5000K color FYI

I personally prefer 3000K-4000K, definitely not 6500K for me.

Obviously Feit brand seems to be better known than the plethora of overseas ones being sold online. Feit products are also sold at Costco from time to time. So there is that assurance about basic level quality in place.

However don't get fooled by the 29.99$ original price struck thru for this discounted price. Right on top of this listing, I saw similar product listed for 9.99$. Out of curiosity I clicked on it and there is a 20% off coupon and apparently a warranty for couple of years etc listed there. I'm in no way affiliated with this Garage Light LED Garage Light 80W Led Garage Ceiling Lights with 3 Adjustable Panels Garage Lights Ceiling Led, E26/E27 LED Shop Lights for Garage, Workshop, Basement, Barn, Attic https://a.co/d/fiqPxKA and only sharing to urge to check benchmark prices for such products. I'm sure had I spent more time, I'd have found many such listings for similar price.

Hope it helps.

I would highly discourage anyone from buying anything from Feit. I've bought many outlets, switches and fixtures from Costco. Yes, the Costco return policy is great, but what about my labor to change dozens of recepticles/fixtures (probably in the neighborhood of 60-70). This has also happened to friends of mine who I told about the "great deal" on Feit products at Costco. Absolute junk!

What!?
I'm looking at Costco's Feit product page, and here is what I'm noticing:
* a total of 20 products on Costco.com;
* all products have at least 4 stars (out of 5) review score from customers;
* average number of reviews/product is over 400 (min. 25, max almost 9000);
* out of 20 products, i see only 4 of them that will require a fixture 'work';
No matter what other similar product you put in there, you would still need the adaptive labor at first...

I recommend the similar 300W equivalent LED bulbs that fit in a standard socket. They get pretty hot, but I have two of them lighting a 2.5 car garage very well. Especially for those that prefer the 3000k temperature. Same price at HD last time I checked.

I'm putting in a 15x30 shop. I figured I'd do LED tube/traditional shop light style. Would I be better off with something like this? I haven't purchased anything yet

I've had many FEIT LED bulbs die from Costco, I won't buy them again.

I have the soft white version - Feit seems to be the only company that makes one. I agree that their products aren't as robust as they should be, but I'd still take a Feit over all the no-name garage lights I see everywhere. My parents are old and love bright lighting - they RAVE about this thing whenever they're in their garage. They have only one socket and this thing casts an insane amount of lighting from the 3 blades, which can be adjusted/directed.
