I have the v10 absolute from a few years ago. Walmart had a refurbished deal with accessories for around 300-350. I saw the floor model of the v10 in BestBuy a few months ago and it had a new motorized head for carpet that was really good at detangling hair. Does anyone know if this unit comes with the new motorized head?

Just got the v10 animal when it was on sale 250(referb) and bought a knockoff fluffy head. The vacuum is awesome. I used to have a v6 and the 10 is a nice upgrade. The knockoff fluffy head is the one that has 2 rollers and is multi-directional. It works just as I remember the fluffy head on the v6 worked. I am totally happy with this vacuum.

Yes, it does. The upholstery attachment is the newer version as well. I also have an older version (2 years old) and bought this deal for my mother. I'm super jealous of those two attachments which will cost over $200.00 alone to upgrade. Also, the canister is easier to empty on the new version. I have always have to fight with mine but the new one opens much easier.
