Good price for such a new release!

Target has this for $39.99 starting tomorrow. Amazon will almost surely match that price, but this is a great way to guarantee a copy in case anyone lags behind a few days before matching.

Xbox game pass also has a free 10 hour trial of this game available for anyone wanting to try before buying.

I was excited for it.. but after playing the trial? It just didn't do anything for me. Overall left me pretty disappointed and turned me off a bit from it, but it seems like most people are liking it, so YMMV.

I tried the 10 hour trial. No. The banter while driving is horrible and something about the controls is a bit off. Visually pretty awesome though

I'm presuming you've played Heat, how did you like it? In my case, I remember not being particularly engaged after clocking like the first ~5 hrs of gameplay. But after that I slowly started picking up the pace, and by the very end it was the only game I played.

NFS Heat felt boring, the city felt generic in design, hard to tell one block from the next.

Thanks, I appreciate it👍 I'm a simple man, and while the design and diversity of map(s) is important, I've found it to be just fine, and wasn't something that made wishing for more, as my main focus was racing online.

I would highly recommend playing the trial. I am ever grateful to that suggestion. Saved money cause this game is not that great. The devs must have made this game after binging on the fast and furious movies. The constant banter during races and the"family" references.

I felt the visuals and gameplay were solid but that banter and dialogue is awful. It's like a bunch of 45+ year Olds trying to write Tik Tok crap for teens.

The AI traffic are a pain, they're always positioned in the way that when you turn into a corner they're always right there. So you go from first to last place. The shortcuts in the racers are ridiculously hard to spot until you follow an AI racer. All races are by class and you make side bets with other players but every upgrade is really expensive it's a grind or pay to play game

I was going too as well, but I want a copy local so I secured it today, I'll have a chat with support tomorrow to get my damn $2 back!
