How do you sleep at night posting misinformation like that?

The SanDisk NVMe Extreme Portable SSD and Samsung T7 Shield have the same speed spec of 1050 MB/s. The SanDisk looks more rugged, is cheaper @ $135 vs $170 for the Samsung. In addition, the SanDisk comes with 5 years warranty, while the Samsung only comes with 3 years.
different products for different needs.

this sandisk is far superior for backups and is faster. transferring large files is probably a good trade-off to carrying around a cable. the time it would take you to plug in the cable would be saved easily when transferring large files
Why bother? You can get 2 tb nvme for the same price.

No need for a cord. A bit slower. More compact. 2TB in the pocket.

probably not. a gen 3 nvme can hit 3x the speeds of this but usb 3.2 gen 2 is limited to around 1200MBps and 2x2 2400 MBps. So you're limited to the bandwidth of the port. Why would they put a high-end nvme drive in this if USB is so limited? It's perfect for what it is, and durable too.

I already bought myself a 1tb for work but I get this for home backups now too.
