23 cents a pod. Are these discounted because they are nearing the expiration date?

Not really, last time I bought was over 6 months ago and it's expiry is still into early 2023, so, at least a year or so expiry date.

These seem to break often and cause mess in newer multi pin machines

I bought SF bay a few times. I feel obligated to let everyone know - it tastes awful! once you open the plastic bag, it is done. The QC from batch to batch is nonexisting. Buy Peets, Starbucks, or Dunkins.

I'd disagree with this. I buy the big 120ct boxes. Each pack is a 10pack. I open one and store in a sealed container. The 10 pack lasts a week and stays fresh. Never had any ones rip or explode like your standard kcups with the foil sealed tops

Deal dead? Don't see the lower price on any variations, except for a 15% S&S discount. By the way, not a big fan of their donut shop blend I got last time on sale..... but like their echo friendly pods.... fits well in keurigs.

I have the same experience, and haven't had any issues with any k-cup. I also leave the opened bag in a air tight container and that's my small issue, I cannot put these in the coffee k-cup organizer I have.

I'll give these a try. I drink a lot of coffee but honest to god, I can't hardly tell the difference in quality. If anything maybe a little in bitterness but nothing too major IMO. The one thing I can tell the difference is the strength because I would be wide awake or not drinking certain brand. Then again, I think it all comes down to individual taste buds. One might be good for me but not for you and vice versa.

Same here. I reuse the same gal ziplock bag. The taste isn't any worse than any other k cup. It's on par with Green Mountain for me.

For me it tastes ok. But the cup uses a paper sealing, maybe healthy or environment friendly, but need to close the machine very quickly and hard to punch through.
Hope they can improve the packaging.
