FWIW, if you haven't bought this before, just buy it. It is absolutely an entertaining (and educational) read of some amusing hypothetical scenarios, Randall (and his webcomic XKCD) is one of the best scientific humors out there.

With its fun illustrations I would still recommend the hardcover if ever the opportunity, but this is only $3 . Hope this helps!

I've seen this on Slickdeals before so time to play a favorite game: "Did I Purchase & Never Read?"

Yes. Purchased 12/2/18. Guess it's time to read this.

Super fun book. Definitely worth $3.

I listened to it via audio book this summer. I think Wil Wheaton was the reader.

Agreed, it was a quick read, fun and educational. I just found out there's a volume 2 as well! Threw that on my wishlist

Hardcover is 13.30 - is that a good price. I want to get it for my 11 year old daughter who asks ridiculous questions to be funny 😁

It does, it's just they are limited to the screen size. The hardcover is a good amount bigger and the pictures take advantage of it.

She will love it then and 13.30 is a good price. If she does, you should show her the webcomic, xkcd.com, for tons more.

Get the hardcover or rent from a library. They have a second version out as well which is equally good.
