I'm using the 12700/3060 variant of the G15 5520, and there is a catastrophic chrome issue with some 12th gen cpus and their integrated graphics in the 12700 and 12900 lines. I don't know if/how that affects other makers, but this 20 thread cpu is slower at running chrome than my year old 8 thread 1165g7 inspiron and far slower and more choppy and laggy than my FOUR YEAR OLD 8750h dell g5.

So far none of the fixes I've researched and nothing I have done has completely fixed it, including disabling ecores, disabling integrated graphics, screwing with hyperthreading, BAR, boost and c states, more than doubling the RAM, etc.has done much if anything.
