Looks like a terribly executed idea. I further confirmed this by looking at the reviews. I immediately noticed the "sealed in box" pic by reviewers and looked at reviews.

LOL, I remember when Koosh was a fad when I was a kid...35 years ago. I saved my Koosh ball in a box of my old toys in the attic, but the heat melted it.
Somebody made millions from making a ball out of rubber bands.
Had one in my cart, but the reviews are keeping me out of this one.

i am happy to report that seem exactly the same as my 1990 version - and i was happy to introduce another generation to them recently👍🏼
