Screenshots of it looked great, the game looks great, but the nonstop dialog is actually so terrible it can ruin the game for you. The gameplay wasn't good enough to help overlook that. I put about an hour in before just not caring to play anymore
Most times it's a bad sign but immortals Fenix rising dropped the same amount about a month in from it's launch and that game was awesome
NFS seems to be similar to Just Dance and other Ubisoft games, where they launch at full price but very quickly drop to a heavily discounted price
The retail version was out on December 2nd.

I had pre-ordered on steam but did a refund. Giving it another shot because it's much cheaper.
This has been the standard for NFS games for a long long time. They debut at full price and then are half price immediately after usually starting at Black Friday.
