Walgreens has stung me on my last 3 orders, canceling part of my order (rendering it ineligible for the price incentives and/or dropping it below their $10 threshold; fundamentally doubling or tripling the end price). This also dropped their "in-stock" quantity fron 3 or more to 1, making it cost more in gasoline than the product itself. Walgreens specializes in this ongoing shill game (no longer shop there)...

I ordered this, plus the shampoo, Vaseline, pringles and Palmolive deal - everything was in stock last night but the entire order was cancelled.
I wonder if it's because I didn't go pick up my last order where they cancelled part of it.
How to get this in store. Do they recognize digital coupon clipped online?
Yes when you 'clip' them the digital coupons are loaded to your rewards card and can be redeemed in store at checkout using the phone number associated with your rewards account.
Hmm, they didn't have the foot cream so I placed two of the other lotion in my cart and applied the coupons, it was closer to $3 each.. Walgreens often doesn't have what's on sale. But thanks for the heads up.
I have contacted Walgreens customer service via phone in the past regarding this ongoing issue. I was advised that in-store/curbside pickup is handled by the individual location managers. They are the ones who fulfill or cancel orders and are the appropriate point of contact for all store pickup related inquiries.

Coupon is good for 1 item, Either 1 or the other of 2 creams in the post, not multiples.

Do you allow substitutions? When I order things like shampoo or conditioner I always provide alternatives that I will accept if the particular scent/type isn't available. I do the same for drink flavors. This greatly increases the likelihood of getting a complete order filled.
With regard to the quantity, it's not real time tracking. If another customer buys the product(s) before the Walgreems employee picks your order they have no alternative but to reduce the #. For example, if you place your order and it happens to be busy in store, they might not be able to pull your order immediately. Meanwhile, a walk in customer clears the shelf. The computer system doesn't prevent the walk in from making their purchase. First to take it off of the shelf (walk in, employee as your proxy or even another in store pickup customer who has placed their order right before you) gets the item. In store pickup is handled completely differently than an online order for site to store or home delivery.
It can be very frustrating but once I understood how orders were filled, the limitations of the store POS system and that allowing substitutions can make a huge difference, my experience has been greatly improved.

I recommend contacting Walgreens if anyone else has had similar issues, otherwise they likely won't change.

Unless the coupon specifically says otherwise, it is single product and single use only.
