Having left retail (I sold cameras) recently, I just cannot put a recommendation behind Sunpak branded stuff. Extremely cheap quality. It's hilarious that the original price is $90. $15 ain't bad though, and few tears would be shed when it inevitably breaks. Though we can easily go on a tangent about waste...

Also note that the description only states the 3.5mm jack. You may need to provide your own adapter to hook the microphone up to your smartphone.

Don't need this, but at that price it's good and may come in handy for whatever occasion. The 5 dollar shipping fee kills it for me though. Good find, OP!

I came here solely for comments about the muff, and what it is for, and somebody to have photoshopped it on someone's head to give them "credibility..."

...And I've been disappointed.

Is the 3.5mm cable TRS to TRRS or is it TRS to TRS?

Also, does the mic include a cold shoe shock mount or are we suppose to let it hang down and dangle by the cable?

sunpak is famous for having lights of 80 CRI.
which is BAD.

CRI of 100 is perfect (i.e. the sun).
CRI of 98 is great.
CRI of 95 is good.

most lights are advertised at 95 CRI, and measured at 95 CRI.
great lights are advertised at 95 CRI, and measured at 98 CRI.

have to look at reviews that uses a spectrum meter to collect the measured data.
