This was a good price for IPS. A couple of days after the Cyber Monday, monoprice dropped the price down a little further to 169.99. That was slickdeal for 32'' 2K IPS monitor with allegedly 1ms gtg.

yeah, the problem though is my vision is SO bad i have to lower the res AND increase the scaling. lol. But still I can tell if actual video is higher res or not because of the crispness. This may end up a mess where I end up having to use a lower res monitor most of the time and lug the stupid desktop I am building to another room and connect to tv for gaming... Or maybe have 2 monitors and have the annoyance of switching them out. I should have just bu8ilt 1 pc for gaming and 1 for everything else instead of getting all these top parts for one do it all system...

Anyone know if you can do displayport daisy chaining with this? It has two ports, but it calls them both inputs.

I thought it will need DisplayPort 1.4 for 1440p to go 165Hz. Previous deal of HP x32 with similar spec is DisplayPort 1.4. But here only 1.2. Is it a typo, or is 1.2 fast enough to support 165Hz? Thanks

Just got the monitor dropped off by FedEx. Was getting ready to set it up and ran into an issue with the stand.

The base/stand doesn't fit into the spot on the back on the monitor.

Am I supposed to use the metal plate also that was in a seperate bag to fill in the recessed spot on the back?

Yes, I got it as well and the metal plate worked. I hate the stand though because it takes up so much depth and doesn't go low enough. I am looking for alternatives. I may end up with a wall mount.

I have to return mine. 1 bad pixel near center of the screen and it doesn't work with PS5 with an out of range message. PC works great on either HDMI or DP, 144Hz on HDMI, 165Hz on DP. It's a shame for me as I really like the 4 available ports and the overall clean design.
