I ordered the die grinder combo (that is a smoke'n deal) but it takes you to a "lifestyle by focus" website?? I've never heard of it before, so here's hoping it's legit.

It's Focus Camera, definitely legit. It's just a section of their site that is not really camera related.

Focus camera is legit, and I believe this website is, based on past discussion I've seen on that very question. I ordered a battery kit, so we're in this one together!!
PS: I bought the die grinder on last month's Amazon bare tool deal. Already used it: it's a beast, but the chuck sucks like everyone has stated (dated design vs modern). Pick up a 10 piece set of carbide rasps for like $40 on Amazon so you're ready to rock!
Showing back in stock right now. There are some wildly high prices on some other items, but the grinder kit is pretty slick. Next best price was $180 on Amazon. And IIRC the grinder doesn't ever come up on the $199 for 2x 5ah + free tool deals. Thanks op!

Yep! I tried again about 20 minutes after it said it was oos and order went through. We'll, see...

if you're talking about the need to use 2 wrenches to change bits then that's how all die grinders, from any brand, are. Nothing really dated about Dewalt's chuck vs comparable tools from other brands. And at least they give you variable speed settings unlike the Milwaukee or Makita equivalent 18V tools.

I bought a MAX XR Cordless Impact Wrench and a die grinder kit, because...you know...TOOLS!!
Besides, I don't care what you've heard, I've been a very good girl this year!
