I bought this yesterday when someone posted the 3 bin one. I received this 2 bin one today and it looks nice but I can't find a way to put a 13 gallon bag in it where it doesn't hang over the sides. I don't want to buy smaller non standard bags so I'm going to return.
Still a good deal though.

If you read the fine print on the product page, it says 16 gallons is made up of two 8 gallon receptacles for a total of 16 gallons. That's why a regular 13 gallon bag is too large. I have been looking for two 13 gallon receptacles and have run into this same issue regularly. The product titles are misleading.

I'm also looking for a 2x13 gal.. trash can and recycle bin unit. I can't believe no company has created one with foot-pedal operation like this one.

The description also states that you can use 10 or 13 gallon bags. Silly to have this handy product with obscurely small bins though.

Just a heads up - this doesn't have soft close lids. And the pedal is kinda loud when you open the lids

I mean that technically isn't a lie but it's misleading and done in bad faith. You could put a 60 gallon trash bag in it if you are using their standards.

Been wanting to get one for kiddos playroom so great timing! I have a different brand but similar sorter in the kitchen as the go to can on our main floor. It's a 5 gal recycle and 8 gal trash and it's plenty for our family of 4. We have to take the recycle out once every day or two, but given how many packages we get, we are taking boxes out anyway. In for 1 and thanks op.
