I'm very critical of most of these started sets, but this is a solid, complete set for someone who wants to work on their own car.
You will still need some more tools, particularly a set of combination wrenches (ratcheting, preferably), a set of pliers, and a set of screwdrivers. A floor jack and jack stands. And a few special-purpose odds and ends, like an oil filter wrench, funnel, and a drain bucket.
But, this set looks very solid to me, and the case looks like it will provide excellent tool management… it is VERY easy to lose track of your sockets and find the correct size without an organization system.
It's also a terrific toolset to have in your car for long drives, just in case.
