Id be all over this deal if it was 26-28". 22 inches is too small to multitask a meal on.

Cold roll steel rusts. Just properly season it as per manufacturer directions (its in the manual) clean it & keep it well oiled after use, and cover it so there's no standing water on it. Even if it comes with a hood cover for it anyway. I have two Blackstones for 3 years, zero rust issues.

I bought the 36" awhile ago for the same price and haven't setup yet. This 22" looks like it suits my needs better because it's smaller and has a guard for the propane tank and has a hood. Decision decision.

Season your cooking surface well and keep them out of the elements and they're easy to maintain. If you leave them uncovered outside they'll rust.

Hood makes a big difference for me, so i got rid of my old 36 on CL and replaced with this one.

FWIW I use a 22" for camping, it's a bit crowded but can keep up with a family of 5. I have a bigger Expert Grill griddle at home, it's probably closer to 36" and works great for the whole family.
