Update: Bostonyankee's suggestion about account managers (on page 6 of this discussion) worked for me.
My 12 month required service with Verizon(for previous gift card promotion) is ending soon. Probably won't stay with verizon just for this promotion. But if you're with verizon anyway, this seems to be a great deal.

I got on a chat with Verizon and can't believe they managed to resolve the issue relatively quickly. It will take you to the very familiar promo page but after you click learn more next to your subscription of choice (likely NFL), you will be taken directly to the payment screen.
Well scratch that. I just realized this is the same link that was already posted. I don't know what they did on the backend, but it worked so there is definitely hope for those that are still having trouble. You just have to get someone on the other end that knows what they're doing.
I have been online with Verizon chat for over an hour without any success. Luckily I was probably never going to use it anyway unless people came over. I am sick of waiting on this chat! Beware of the NFL signup page SlickDealers.

Whenever I click "Get It Now" under the NFL offer on the promo page, it asks me if I'm a New Customer or Existing Customer, and when I hit Existing Customer, that's when I get redirected to News Center.
