Illustration Style. These books are illustrated by the graphic designers that did most of the props for the movies. IMO they are way better, but people have different tastes.
Size. These are roughly the same size as the standard American hardback books, but a bit thicker. The other illustrated issues are much larger, more like coffee table books.
Interactivity. These books have pop-up, interactive, and foldout elements on some pages. The other illustrated editions do not to my knowledge.

best edition IMO, only downside is still have to wait several years until they do the rest of the books

Any chance MinaLima book 1 comes back to under $20? Looks like it was $18.56 a few times first half of 2022. Now $29 ($23.20 after the 20% target/Amazon coupon)

Warning, this book will embarrass every other hardcover book on your bookshelf. Black text characters on a white page? Please. This book is full color, 3D, and interactive.

Target basically did match this deal. You can get 20% off of books at $18.99 starting price, so you can basically get it for $15.20. Factor in 5% redcard cash back and you're getting a better deal. Just have to purchase it online/ via app rather than in store.

Wouldn't people want to deviate from anyone who worked on the movies? If someone tried to sell me this book and said it was drawn by ppl who worked on the movies I wouldn't buy it just because I know true fan art doesn't come from the movies just compare the iron throne from game of thrones to fan artwork compared to the show and is not even close the iron throne is a shitty prop on how the iron throne was supposed to really look. I wouldn't trust any prop artist to do a book justice.
