No go for 55+. Called.
Does this works if I am grandfathered from sprint ?

edit:

"the offer will require the customer be on a Magenta biller (not Sprint) and have 2 or more (paid) lines. For reference, "Magenta Biller"
No go for Tmobile ONE 9-12 lines (for me)

Still check with a few agents if you have time to spare. My exact plan might not be the reason why I'm not eligible.

UPDATE: T-Mobile App Chat said I was eligible and added a line for me. The BYOD promotion shows up on the Plan Details and Service Promos pages. Two other promotions of mine no longer show up but Tforce confirmed they are still active.

Seems most people who are told are not eligible, are able to add the line and see the promotion. We shall see if they stick.

I just got a text for promo confirmation.

On magenta plan
I ordered 12/19 8pm pst
Picked physical Sim route. Paid the $35
12/20 8am I see a line added to the account. Also saw a $20 more onto the bill. 12/21 8pm. I read somewhere about the deleting auto pay and wait 30 minute then add auto pay back.

Today 12/22 8:30am received a text confirmed of deleting auto pay on 12/21. Then another text after, confirming of adding auto pay. Right after this text confirmation of promo free line was added to the account.

Checked the account. Free line. I see the promo code. And the $20 was dropped.

So far nothing out of place. NOT the same bill. It's actually $5 less because of auto pay on this newly added free line.

Overall. Waited 2 days from order. Sim card should arrived today which was 2 day air shipping. Now I got a free line from promo. And bill is $5 less because of auto pay on the free line. Nice.

Those who did a conversion to the 9-12 plans for the AAL and had previous free lines, have the promos reappeared at all? Still showing only my account level discounts after the line was added on Monday. Haven't called yet, hoping everything will resolve itself...

Were you told you were eligible for the promo or did you risk it? Also, in your account history section does it say the line was added on 12/19 or 12/21? I'm glad you got it.

I did the turn off/turn on Autopay trick yesterday, no luck. But couple minutes ago I just got the text saying my new line has been added. Hope I snuck in for the promo (was told not eligible and ordered physical sim at 12/19 11pm pst.

Are you just referring to the text that says line was added. I think that is not the one that confirms the promotion. I got that text too, I think on the day the SIM was delivered.
I think people are referring to another text that confirms the promo

Positive update everyone. I placed free line order with a physical SIM on the morning of 12/18. It was activated and shipped on 12/20 around noon. Free line did not show up for me, until today 12/22 at 2:00 pm. Text received and promo shows on promo page, and on account details, and correct billing amount is shown.

I did not need to delete and add auto-pay or do anything different.

Yeah I Worded that poorly, sorry. I'm just stating that I finally received a text saying my line is "officially" added but nothing yet about the promo, if that ever comes.

611 and iMessage TMo reps both said I was ineligible, but I went ahead and placed the order for physical SIM at 12/20 2am EST my time yet 12/19 11pm PST on TMo's official time documented. SIM comes in tomorrow.

I hope I make it through. 😓

Nice! Glad to see this as a fellow longtime customer as well. Were you eligible for the promo or just risked it and it went through?

I was told I was eligible but they told me I need to move to Magenta. I am on One plan with 7 lines. It didn't make sense as my plan allows for 8 lines. I was told that by 2 agents in the app and also by 1 T-Force agent on Twitter. Another agent on Twitter told me I am eligible and to go ahead and add it online or in app by myself.

I tried adding the line online but got an error. However, I was able to add it using the app with no issues without having to change my plan.

1) I asked T-Force if they would refund the $35 after I activated the SIM, no go.
2) They did add the One Plus Promo
3) They said I could port in a number into the free line.

I tried the unenroll and re-enroll autopay trick.

Now it won't let me re-enroll.

Still no line discounts showing from my 5 free lines.
Seems like TMo locking accounts now, for that 35 DCC for everything

Just to confirm, the OnePlus promo is the one that gives you 10GB high speed hotspot even if you are on One plan, right?

I asked twitter folks twice, both denied. Then someone suggested try the overseas 611 call at night, that worked in 15 minutes.

So this is really weid.

I removed auto pay and the bill went up by $25 (4ines earlier, the new one is 5th). I thought I will wait an hour before addig it again. Got a text about 10 minutes later confirming the bill will no longer include $25 AP discount

Was going to login again to re add AP and just then got the Congrats text , it said you will receve promotional service disc .. didnt say exactly which promo.

The strange part is that when I check the plan at this stage, the new promo took out the full $25 cost of the new line (the line is $20 with AP, $25 without AP).

I was hoping that the $25 new promo discount will stay as is even after I add back AP. But no, that wasnt the case. After I added AP, the promo discount lowered to $20. And my bill is exactly same as it was before all this.

The only thing I wish is that TM makes doing this easier. So much uncertainty and dealing with some really stupid/incompetent reps over this. The best lesson is not to listen to reps and do your own thing by reading SD and reddit, etc
