Capital one terms say - the cashback is only for a qualifying purchase and the conditions for a qualifying purchase clearly mentions "The Purchase of a Gift card or gift cards is not a qualifying purchase" - FYI…..

I guess I am going to use discover + Apple Pay for 5%

Getting an error when I use Apple Pay Discover. "There was an error while validating your card details. Please try with correct information"

Nice Deal. As someone mentioned if you have a capital one card login and use the link under rewards to get 8% cashback. link to giftcard came within 10 mins. takes you to several different links to redeem but worked great.
