Anyone know what warranty, if any, Nikon offers on their refurbished cameras?
All Nikon refurbished cameras, lenses and accessories include a 90-day limited warranty against defects in material and workmanship. It offers the same warranty coverage as the Nikon Digital Imaging Warranty, just for 90 days instead of one year.
These products have been carefully reconditioned by Nikon Inc. to meet all factory specifications. Refurbished products may have signs of previous use (minor body wear or other cosmetic indications) but contain all the needed cables, batteries, and other accessories and are protected by a 90-day limited warranty. As of Sep 30, 2016
Since it's directly from Nikon it's much better they said don't trust anybody outside of Nikon refurbishing the camera you can't and don't know who they are who does the work.

That said, I've bought several cameras over the years from them. All were excellent.
You could only tell they were refurbished by the plain box they came in.
Whenever I sold them years later as used I got close to what paid initially.

I bought the two lens deal a few months ago without this discount and thought it was a good deal. The camera I got had a shutter count of 1,

Pics/Video, both?
What kind of pics? Lots of movement, landscape, wildlife etc?
Do you want to learn manual mode where you control the picture outcome, vs the algorythm Auto mode or a smart phone creates for you? In my opinion that is the real reason to spend money on camera and lens system like this or the others.
Do you plan to buy a lot of lenses later? Nikon doesn't offer much for this body unless you are ok with using and FTZ apaptor.
You can learn photography cheaply with a used Nikon D3xxx body, Sony A6xxx or Canon and later get a better body and keep the lenses. That is why I bought this model. I had a lot of lenses that will fit it with an adaptor.
Also shooting photos in manual is a necessity as well.
This a good one or should I keep looking?

The kit lenses are actually quite good.
Video is supposed to be good as far as Nikon is concerned. The D7500 had only cropped 4k I think.
Is the z50 a good camera for a beginner
I want to use this to take photos of my kid and family trips
Only thing I've been using so far has been my iPhone 14 pro max not sure if it's worth spending the 650 for a cool camera

You do need to buy an adapter to use F mount lenses though. But there's a third party clone (Viltrox, I think) if you don't want to shell out for the Nikon FTZ adapter.
