Will never buy another PNY product. Anecdotal, yes, but I had a USB drive that had lifetime warranty on it. When it failed, I went thru hoops. Then silence. Eventually when I reopened the case they told me that product line does NOT have a lifetime warranty (any more). So rejected it.

Never again PNY.
Data loss is always a concern but for $54-110 for 1tb-2tb I may throw this in my second m.2 slot for game installations
Perfect for a secondary drive and willing to risk data loss.

If I didn't already load up on SSDs since BF, I would have gotten one of these for my smaller build.

That's what I did. Sabrent rocket for the main os, one of these cheap ssds for the game storage. Works perfect for me.

Every other thread I see someone mention something about an AMEX offer. I think it's time I get one of these laugh out loudWhat kind of offer was it exactly? CB as a statement credit?

Yup. They sent out multiple offers save 60% your order with a max $60 back, 40% with a max $40 back, and the last one I got was a15% with a max $15 back.

Amex offers means ex will credit your account for a certain amount. The current Best Buy offer is if you spent $250 or more in a single order or multiple orders, Amex will credit your account $25.

Think this would make a good cache drive on an unRAID server? Thinking the price for the 500gb is low enough where I don't really care if it craps out
