The bad thing of HP pavilion is can't upgrade the PSU it's 4 pin power conector to board, so for upgrade you have to change PSU and motherboard

For many folks, especially old ones like me, this will work just fine. Repped.

You can get adapters to convert them to standard 24-pin ATX.

This was a Frontpage deal a few weeks ago:
https://slickdeals.net/f/16267642-hp-pavilion-tp01-3016-desktop-390-more-free-shipping

310W PSU is good for a GTX 1650 graphics card for gaming.

1650s are pretty tapped out. RX 6400 has popping up at $120. Even if this is PCIe 4, it should be a good option. Just stay away from the 1630.
