The white and the Midnight black are the older versions.

White came out in November 2020
Midnight black - June 11th, 2021
Red - June 2021
Pink, Blue, Purple - January 2022
And the Grey Camo - October 2022

These haven't actually dropped below $50 though. The $40 deals were due to the controller being $50 and slickdealers using a general "$10 off of $50" coupon.

If you can point us to either a similar controller deal + coupon or a $40 controller then I'll upvote your post and rep you. Otherwise this is the current best deal on the controller.

I used WOWFRESH code at Walmart to get $10 off. Had to add $1 filler item. No new account required. I used PAYPAL10 code a few weeks ago with existing account. So good luck trying these codes. Additional 5% cash back using Chase Freedom credit card.
