This download (use jDownloader) previously only worked on the old version of the ALU machine, but since November works on all editions. No updating, no going online, no monitoring or hardwiring. One USB stick or SSD in a USB enclosure and you have every title available via A1Up cabinet, SNES, MSU, Famicom, Genesis, etc.
The only exception are polygon-intense games like Blitz, which require an external PC or Pi to run.
I highly recommend the 3" riser from BuyStuff if you're over 5'8 or the 5" riser if your close to 6' or over. Adds a lot of weight and stability and comfort.
All that being said, I still use this far less than I anticipated. What is it that you truly treasure, playing Galaga, or the memories of you playing Galaga?

Yep I have this and have every console and arcade game I want.

This is a 3/4 size cabinet. Much bigger than those little 1up cabinets you see, but not as big as a full cabinet in an arcade. For most, that makes it better because it doesn't take up so much space in your house. This one is a really good compromise.

Damn I was afraid of that. I understand the compromise but I really wish they'd give a full size cabinet, especially for these emulator ones that have a ton of games. Space less of a concern when one cabinet can do it all. I'm on the taller side though so maybe not as big of deal to those with normal height.
