Not shure if you're being sarcastic but disk is a good thing.

New Tales? Is this a new game? Why am I not seeeing a lot of fanfare for this franchise after 3? Even Wonderlands didn't get much hype

As a huge fan of 1 and 2, 3 did not keep my attention for too long.. Same with tales. They just didn't have the magic of the first two.

Because Gearbox now only cares about making games that appeal to a certain segment of Twitter.

Glad I'm not the only one who found 3 boring. Within the first 2 hours it felt like a grind. Claptrap was still funny as hell.

Can anyone tell me if the PS5 version comes with the old Tales game on disc or as a download code? Thanks.

The Deluxe version is "Deluxe" because it includes the original Tales. That's the only difference from the standard version. On Steam I literally just got both games separately when I bought it.

This has been hovering between $25-30 for a while, so a good deal at $20.

It's $2 cheaper at GameStop if you're a Pro member.

I got the original Tales for like $7.50 on a steam sale many moons ago. I typically never bought any "season" of TT game for more than $7.50. So I will wait until it hits that point.

Borderlands series is essentially dead. Borderlands 2 was it's peak, each subsequent release gets worse and worse.

I've enjoyed the Borderlands series a lot, including more recent entries (BL3, TTW) that the hardcore community has deemed bad because...they're not BL2.

The first Tales game was a lot of fun and set up some stuff in BL3. The overall reception on forums and Reddit was overwhelmingly positive. However, the response to this one has been much more critical in those places as well as the Xbox store. However, since a lot of the BL community seems to be...reluctant to give new features/characters/settings a fair chance, I'm holding out a little hope.

Since I've already played the first, I'm waiting until a non-deluxe digital Xbox version gets below $10, maybe even $5.

Agree 100%. No interest in a disk version. I can wait.

I don't even know what you're trying to insinuate here. You're saying this game didn't get a lot of marketing because Gearbox only markets to a small audience on Twitter? What audience??
