This is an excellent price, especially considering its retail price at release was $2,999 and its Indigogo price was $2,799 [indiegogo.com]. I'm actually pretty surprised about the $2,249 price and didn't expect it to be this low until well into 2023.

I have the more modest Segway MAX and have been riding it at least twice a week for over a year, without issues whatsoever.

Take care,
Tofu Vic

I think I can buy a motorcycle/moped at this price point. Sure I lose the convenience of no parking and gas so I guess a more realistic comparison would be i can get an electric bike for less. I have a bird renewed es4 and I love using it but that was like $200/$250. It's like 10x for this thing.

nope, reviewers have stated how stable this scooter is. they even state how stable it feels with only one hand one the handlebar, something that I wouldn't do if going over 10mph on my max.

Yeah, in theory it sounds great but at that price point and the possibility of losing all your teeth while faceplanting into the cement. I think im going to pass.

My only gripe with this thing is that it weighs as much as a KIA!

Seriously how much does it weigh? Can't seem to find weight specs anywhere

I currently have a 40mph scooter. It's fairly forgiving with suspension. A motorcycle, moped, or sit down scooter is much safer though. It's only a matter of time until I make a mistake.

Things that make this scooter really nice…
-this scooter actually has shocks, most scooters are just spring suspension without dampening
-rake angle of the stem is great for stability
-it's rwd, high powered dual motor tends to wipe out the front when you power out of a turn. Rear motor only is how I'd build a scooter from scratch.
-ninebot scooters are very high quality

This is surprisingly not a bad scooter for the money, and I have a pretty decent amount of knowledge about all the scooters on the market.

103lbs

That is definitely heavy, and this thing does not collapse very much.

40mph dual suspension scooters are not mobile at all. Mine is 80lbs. I'm 6'4" 210lbs, I can carry about 180lbs of sheetrock up a flight of stairs, but I have trouble with my 80lb scooter. It's just so awkwark to carry.

That being said, 103lbs is pretty heavy. It does look very well built though.
These scooters are to park in a garage.
