Just the beginning. CES is in couple weeks (Jan 5!) when the C3, B3, and A3 are announced. If they are substantial upgrades (all the lines getting EVO panel and EVO firmware, the C3 / G3 get the new OLED tech that will be 20% brighter) then all existing models will see price decreases starting...

You're better off - plus the added warranty - MUCH better deal to buy this at Costco than any other junk retailer
I have a Costco membership. But buying it direct from LG via a monies back site isn't a junk retailer. Most CCs have an extended year warranty, and Citi cards extend 2 years on purchases prior to 1/22/23. With the code on LG plus something back from certain sites, this is definitely a no brainer for many.

I bought an A80J 65" couple of weeks back for $1390 after tax. Not able to decide on whether it's worth taking it off the wall and returning for this.
I have a 77" A80J and a 65" G2. I believe A80J is brighter than B2. This is a great deal, but I will keep the A80J if I were you, especially because I like Google TV better than LG WebOS.

I realize this is a subjective question, but I just picked up the LG - 48" Class A2 Series OLED 4K from BB Excellent condition for $420 and debating if should upgrade to this.

This is larger and has better specs, almost 3x the price.

Choices choices

This deal is better at Costco with the automatic 5 years warranty than some basement retailer sponsored by Wally World lmao

This vs a mini led ?
Mini LED will be brighter, will not have the gradual degradation or burn-in risk of OLED, and can be cheaper if you buy from a "lesser" brand such as TCL or Hisense.

OLED will have better contrast, no blooming, and much better viewing angles.

Take your pick, can't really go wrong with either. OLED will have better PQ in a dark room, but mini LED may be a better choice if your room has a lot of light.

One point of comparison: Best Buy is still offering the TCL 65R646 for $700, which is a pretty decent mini LED option. The LG B2 in this deal is $400 more. Worth it? You decide.

I think you're confused, or didn't bother to read. We're talking about buying this directly from LG…not the seller through Walmart. LG is selling this for $1,139 after using a code. Then if you're savvy enough, you use certain sites to get something back. My OTDT will be $1,173.01 after taxes and my Citi card makes it a 3 year warranty. I'm okay with that. Anyone that bought it at Costco likely paid about $1,400 OTD. To each their own?

buy it from LG official for $1140, https://slickdeals.net/f/16325275-65-lg-oled65b2pua-b2-hdr-4k-smart-oled-tv-2022-1099-free-s-h?p=160465960#post160465960

Just missed out on this deal because I was driving around looking at TV's! What are the freakin' odds??? Anyway, was eyeballing the OLEDs and I must say, the LG has a ridiculously wide viewing angle compared to Sony. Straight on, I really couldn't see much of a difference. They were about the same price at the store I was add. I really want an 85 inch for the living room but it's $3k versus $1k for the 65. So I went home empty handed... again.

I will gladly buy the 2022 model at a discount. It's more than good enough for my 50 year old eyes!

Get it directly from LG using the code that's been mentioned a handful of times on this thread. It's $1,139 pre tax but you can get 50 back using a certain site, maybe more on others.

Ehm, no it doesn't. Sony uses LG panels so they have pretty much the same viewing angles, which is also confirmed by the corresponding reviews on Rtings.com.
