I personally dont like them for the tree, but they look great when mixed with red strands outside on the trees to make candy canes.
Great buy at this price.

Now it says "4 sets of 100 lights" in description, but title uses term "4-pack." When I think of "pack" I'm thinking of one of those boxes with 2 strings of cord. That would be 4 boxes x 200 lights = 800 lights for 264' of cord. But description would lead me to believe, it's actually 2 boxes x 200 lights = 400 lights for 132' of cord…. If this latter is the case, the Sam's deal gets you 100 more lights on 18' less cord (denser lights), for $9.66, cheaper than Costco. That's $0.0193 per light vs. Costco $0.0299 per light.
Anything I'm missing? Anyone else think it's the later, and the description is correct? The picture indicates 2 boxes as well. Personally I think I'd rather have more lights and less cord, but 18' is a lot. Sylvania is good brand with 5 yr warranty, but in theory Costco/Sam's general warranty are longer. I think the Sam's lights come with lifetime warranty since it's their brand, but need to go grab a pack and confirm I read that right.
Anyways, hope this helps others!

Not sure if the Sam's are also the Stay-Lits, but after wasting so much time trying to find the one broken bulb on cheap led lights, I'll pay extra for Stay-Lits.

I was looking at Sylvania stay lit lights last week and they are normally $19.99 - $29.99 for 1 set
I bought 5 and maybe I should buy more.

Usually only 1/2 string works and so it has to be thrown out for landfill or HD recycling.
I still have 3 sets of lights bought from Sears in 1995 that still work.
For warranty do we simply exchange at store or have the expense of posting back the non-working light strings.
