I have a hard time understanding why anybody would ever buy these over their regular RGB shapes hexagon panels. They don't do anything but white and achieve less than a quarter of the brightness (probably because of whatever crap they applied over the panel to give it the wooden look). While this might be a good deal compared to the MSRP and any recent deal for them, I'd hold out for the inevitable fire sale that's coming. I personally wouldn't pay more than $5 a panel for these and it'd take some serious soul searching for me to do that.

I'll share an idea that hopefully helps you understand a potential perspective… some people, particularly myself, don't want neon lights because they feel it can give off a bit of an immature vibe outside of a flat out party where you're hosting guests and have music bumping.

But I absolutely love wood. And I absolutely love dim and warm accent lighting.

It seems this product is trying to target that market. I have no idea how well this product is doing in that market and at this price, I would never buy this.
