That post refers to how Slickdeals sometimes embellishes the value to say these are $150 headphones in this post, for example. It's true, if you go by only this post it's misleading and you think you're getting a truly exceptional deal when in actuality it's meh.

I remember years ago when anything appeared on front page, you just bought now and think later because they were all genuine bargains to meet the threshold for being front page worthy. Not anymore.

I got the y400 model, i dont know if this one has the same auto play/pause feature. But it is the most annoying thing to have in a headphone. It would just randomly pause or launch Music App. You can disable it on the y400 by holding the play/ ambience button for 5 seconds but you got to do it everytime you turn on the headphone. The feature is so bad that I would suggest you avoid these AKG models.

Why does anybody take MSRP seriously anymore? That has been a useless reference for many years, which is why the Woot website now refers to it as the "Pointless Price".

These are "on ears" and after some time may hurt. These days I use chi-fi with a DAC cable, just because I like to experiment with a quality sound, but for wireless for $30 this is a deal.
