Better to get the $100 Xbox gift cards for $80 a piece from Costco and then use them to buy a series x from MS store. Limit of 2, but if you have access to separate accounts that's $100 off if you can get $500 worth.

Cheaper than the $550 I paid at Costco this February. Sucks that they won't price match given the unlimited return policy.
Yeah, it's a really stupid policy. It's a pain for you because you'd have to set up a new console and it's a pain for them to have to deal with the return.

I bought a 77" TV earlier this year and it went on sale after the price match window. I asked for them to make the exception and of course they didn't. So I went through the hassle of having it picked up and reordered the TV. That cost Costco more money since they had to have the guys out here to rebox it up and then set my new TV up. Just a stupid policy that isn't good for us or Costco.

In your case it cost them more. In general, the policy relies on apathy the same as rebates. They still save money overall this way.

Then they should change their return policy to not be so generous. Do you have data to back up your assertion? The people that have Costco memberships typically have them in order to save money. Plenty of people would go through the hassle of returning and rebuying in order to save money.

Can 2 quantity of each below be bought to buy Xbox X on Microsoft store?

https://slickdeals.net/share/iphone_app/fp/784960

2x $100 Microsoft Xbox Gift Card (Email Delivery) $79.99
2x 4-Pack $25 Microsoft Xbox Gift Card (Email Delivery) $79.99

Total $320 - GC value $400 = $80 saved?

then for Xbox X $500
= $ 180 remain to pay.

Is this the best deal currently?

Not necessarily. Keep Xbox in mind. MS has had this $1 deal for years now. They're losing money on it. You cannot state otherwise. There might be something else to it. No data stating that their current policy is a money maker. Keeping with Costco, look at pizza and hot dogs. Still very cheap. They're losing money. But they don't change it. Not everything is as clear cut as you say.

The sense of entitlement is strong with some folks here.
