Better to get the $100 Xbox gift cards for $80 a piece from Costco and then use them to buy a series x from MS store. Limit of 2, but if you have access to separate accounts that's $100 off if you can get $500 worth.

Used to remember when around this time we were getting 100 off on consoles, love to go back to that time.

Would we be able to use xBox gift art to buy xBox console from MS store? Or it is restricted only to buy games?

Then they should change their return policy to not be so generous. Do you have data to back up your assertion? The people that have Costco memberships typically have them in order to save money. Plenty of people would go through the hassle of returning and rebuying in order to save money.
Yes we would 😊.

3 years after it came out and still the price hasn't really come down.
Well the first year they were pretty hard to get due to COVID

90 days for electronics bro, read the policy.
Yes, you should read the policy. Gaming consoles are not part of the 90 day return policy that applies to electronics. They fall under the unlimited guarantee. That's why I would only buy a gaming console from Costco.

They have never been that hard to "get". LOL. What they really are, is hard to "want". With most of the optimization and ray tracing in current gen games already proven to be performing better on the PS5, it appears that most people nowadays use the Series X just to watch Youtube videos of game streamers playing all the big exclusive PS5 games until Xbox management forgets about the Activision Blizzard deal, and decides to start acting like they care about releasing new games again.
They were never as hard to get as PS5. I'll give you that but they also weren't readily available. I do agree though that PS5 seems like a much superior console in comparison. Let's see if the Activision deal goes through

There are advantages to buying electronics via a credit card. Good credit cards provide some kind of insurance on these items (aka Purchase Protection, extended warranty coverage).

Why is this originally listed as 799? Could get that for $535 separately for an X and extra controller from almost any store

Both PS5 and Series X are about to go up in price. At first it was the chip shortage, now it's inflation. Up to you whether you believe that or not, but I think that's beyond the purview of this thread. Any sale on the current price for either console at this point is a slick deal.

Both of them were hard to get, PS5 just continues to be hard to get, but it'll stay in stock on Playstation Direct for days at a stretch now. Graphics don't decide good games. Look at the number of consistently highly reviewed games from small studios using pixel graphics or low rez. Dead Cells, Hades, Hollow Knightand the like. Then look at some of the 4k HDR hyper-realistic games that have been absolute poop shows. Cyberpunk is one of the few games to not only have forced refunds but actually pulled from shops. The original watchdogs was a glitchy mess when it came out. Mass Effect Andromeda anyone? I like the Xbox controller better, all my friends play Xbox, and Xbox doesn't wipe your library if you Live Gold expires, you just need to resub to play them again. If you lapse for even 1 day PS Plus you lose all of your PS Plus games. Screw that.
