- Kart Racers 2 - Functions correctly as a game, can be fun, but lacks polish/feels slightly unfinished. Maybe worth it at $10, would recommend at $5.
- Kart Racers 3 - Basically 2 but with the missing elements added and parts polished. Maybe worth it at $20, would recommend at $15~10.
As to Vs. Mario Kart 8? You're basically comparing this to one of the most polished and fun multiplayer games ever made. Mario Kart 8 is not only the best Switch comic-battle-racer but likely the best the genre has ever seen. Mario Kart 8 is a "must own" if you own a Switch without exception, this exists for different characters and different circuits because you're bored of MK8.
You're safe with 2, I think. Just not 1!
