This was $99 the last two years at Ace but alas, inflation.

flimsy . I think Husky ones are better in low end category. Otherwise get higher series of craftsman

Seems like a good price for a basic home tool starter cabinet with ball bearing drawers if you are space limited but no store pickup adds $40+ shipping so that eats up a lot of the deal unfortunately.

We could use a small chest like this but I'm concerned about it being dented. Lots of reviews on Amazon had horrible shipping experiences. Ace has free store delivery in my area. That might be a better option. Thanks OP!

Good starter boxes. Do they expect them to take a prolonged beating and definitely don't overload them. I had an older version of this set, added some rubber liners, and they lasted years. Happy Holidays everyone!

Better to look for good quality used (like old craftsman) toolboxes on ebay/craigslist. Will last a lifetime.

I have this cabinet. Bought it for $99 more than a year ago from Ace hardware. A lot of people say that it's flimsy, but the better quality ones were three to four times the price (at least when I bought mine). I honestly think it's a great cabinet if you are going to just have it remain at one place. I have mine stuffed with tools and all drawers are full. The drawers still function smoothly.

There is one caveat though - I wouldn't recommend it if you are going to wheel it around. I wheeled this cabinet a bit here and there - not excessively, but still one of the wheel came off because the nuts had come loose. Each wheel is held with three nuts. Somehow they didn't bother using washers. As a result all three nuts from one wheel came off and others had become loose too. I just emptied the cabinet, flipped it on its side, removed all wheels and put them back in with washers.

I don't have much need to move the cabinet, so I don't mind it. It's there in one spot in the basement and that's where it stays. To be safe - I avoid moving it around any more. Other than that, it's been a good purchase. For home owners that need to keep basic tools in a stationary place, I would highly recommend it.

20-24 gauge steel, wtf does that even mean? There is a huge difference between 20 and 24…. No thanks

Careful with this one. I ordered one off Lowes two weeks ago and the top chest had a loose railing on the inside. I only found that out after attaching the wheels. The warranty support staff told me over the phone that its normal for this sort of thing to happen, since these things get banged around a lot during shipment.

In-store price is $219, if you were wanting to use the $25 in-store coupon.
Oh well.
