4500/4600g with 8mb l3 needs to be $70 tbh. R5 2600 performance in 2022/23.

If you have a local MicroCenter, you can get the Ryzen 5 4600G for $90, and the 5600G for $120. They also have $20 off, when bundled with a compatible eligle MB.

I believe these are the best option for building an inexpensive non-gaming system. They benchmark slightly higher that Intel's 12th generation i3, and i5 respectively, both in CPU and GPU benchmarks, and are close to 2x the price.

They also have a free B450M MB with the older Ryzen 5 3600, for $128. The CPU benchmarks between those 2, but does not have onboard graphics.

These are the end of he road for AM4 motherboards, DDR4 memory, and not what a gamer would require, but it is a decent PC for most of other applications. like a HTPC.

Amazon has had the 5600g at <$110 (maybe $106). If no rush then put a price alert on the 3ca mel site and get it there. I think if you can get it at that price better to go for the newer one. 4600g should have a bigger discount by now IMO.
