Do people still use this? Got some for $0.5 a pack many years ago when my daughters were in grade school. Still have them after they both graduated in college in the last few years. They did not use a single pack in college.

You likely mean to suggest loose leaf in general(?), since wide ruled isn't going to see much use past elementary grades for most kids these days.

Everyone is different but my personal preference remains 3-ring binder combined with loose leaf to facilitate re-ordering. About the most notable innovation in spiral notebooks for me were those whose pages were perforated to facilitate removal and placement in a binder, but I found their sometimes non-standard page sizes frustrating.

To that point, note that these pages are a bit shrunken (as sign of pure cost-saving) down from proper 8.5" x 11" to a mere 8" x 10.5".
