I got in that deal but ended up with returning 6e. I really had high hopes about pro 6e but I found pro 6 is significant better than pro 6e in terms of range and speed. Maybe that's due to the structure of my house, or lack of 6e phones/computers. Eero pro 6 can give me consistent 500+ Wi-Fi speed but eero pro 6e could only get unstable 3/400 on my iPhone XR. I think there are some debate on which is better and some folks prefer pro 6. I searched the past eero pro 6 deals and the recent one didn't include the trade-in option. My point is, if you like pro 6, this should be a good deal.

does it mean I can get 25% off of that $419 price? I do have the 2nd gen eero pro to trade in.
just wanna make sure since the 3pack eero pro 6 is already 30% off.

Amazon has gutted the eero brand. The 6+ and 6e are the latest and most Amazon influenced models, removing HomeKit secure router and up selling services that are standard on brand name routers. The 6e is awful but I left on vacation before getting to test it so I can't return it. Avoid the 6e, especially Amazon's eero.

The pro 6 has a dedicated back haul when using wirelessly but the 6e dynamically uses whichever band isn't used by the client as back haul. So eero is likely using the 2.4Ghz slow band as backhaul when you're connected on a WiFi 6 client/device. And because it's eero they won't let you modify anything, which could probably be fixed by forcing the 5GHz to be the dedicated backhaul or never utilizing the 2.4Ghz or only use the 6GHz if the connection to other eero is faster than your internet speed. This is a con for all 6e systems currently but the deco I had at least gave me the option to use 6GHz only for clients.

You should be able to use your trade in option to knock off another 25% (based on full 599 price per past experience).

full price did not work for me (placed an order just a few minutes ago). Also chatted with an Amazon rep who refused to adjust (did give me a $15 compensation credit - meh). Still a decent price imo.

What exactly are we trading in for the 25% off?
