This is a very good router. I am using it as my primary router in the back end of a mesh AP using the 2.5Gbps port. If you have the AmEx offer, add a small filler like the $20 air fryer or something like that to bring the after tax total above $250 for $25 cashback.

I have tp axe7800 from Costco and I can configure it with 192.168 address from my laptop, didn't have to use the app. I can also set parental control with different profiles settings for the kids without paying pro. so maybe certain model required pro?

Once it's in shelves, all the wifi 6 and 6e products will be heavily discounted. Wifi 7 is 3x throughput of 6e.
Hold the line and you'll save way more when they clear out 6 and 6e
