YMMV and depends on how good your local dealer is willing to work with you. The response I have from mine is to wait till Jan 1 to get a quote and the OTD. Some of the rebates mentioned in the link are valid till Jan 3. So the above price is achievable if you take delivery between Jan 1 and Jan 3. Please post any responses that you receive from your local dealers here. At 18k this is a screaming deal. Hope folks are able to pull this off.

A standard 240 volt home charger should do about 26 miles per hour of charge. You can get faster 80 amp chargers as well.
I don't have a Bolt, but these numbers are straight from Chevy.
Eventually caved in to installing a faster charger at home. But bottom line is, it's surviable but definitely not ideal.

This is not a question if you normally have a refund or not. It's a question of tax owed before your withholding/payments/other credits are applied.
Example: You make 80k a year, your employer withholds 10k in federal tax and you get a 2.5k refund. Your tax liability was 7.5k and you will receive a credit against that (and a refund of 7.5k).
Anyways if you wait until 2024 the tax credit will be taken out at the Point of Sale which many people prefer.

meanwhile EV's will get at least 120 EMPG That's like paying 4 times the price of gas by driving a gas vehicle when you can drive electric for 1/4 the cost..
it might be even better/worse than that.. depending on what you pay for electricity. I wish my volt had 100 mile range but oh well.. I got it dirt cheap.

Charging is fine at 240. At DC chargers took about 40 minutes to charge 100 miles.
LOL at Model X owner who wouldn't install 240V home charger.
And so what? Who cares what anybody else thinks? If you're keeping up with the Joneses or caring about someone else's opinion, you're adulting wrong. I want to retire as early as possible with the most amount of money possible invested in the right areas, so given our income,
Tesla Y-priced vehicles will never be in our financial plan unless we win the lottery big time!
