I don't think I need that much, even if I use it weekly.

Which are all so much better with fresh ground, it isn't even funny. Instant Pot and homemade garam masala and freshly ground whole spices are a revelation.

I'm not impressed with the quality of McCormick cumin (or other spices). And pay attention to the country the spice comes from - If packaging doesn't specify the country of origin, I'd assume China. McCormick is sourcing a lot of spices from China these days. (Target & Walmart are, too.) When it comes to food, I don't want it sourced from China.

I'm really unimpressed with McCormick chili powder as well.

If you live in the a part of the country that has Winco, their bulk spice section is sooo much cheaper than buying bottles of spices off the shelf.

I agree with you about food products out of China. I did check the questions on the Amazon product page and someone asked that very question. The answer given was that McCormick cumin was sourced out of India. I don't know if that's better or not, or if there's another option. I don't use a whole lot of cumin except a little in BBQ rubs and a tiny bit in Chilli recipes if I haven't gotten lazy and bought a spice kit 😁
