We've used it nearly exclusively with Peloton and it's been a great way to sneak in a workout over lunch or when the weather outside is too frightful.
The resistance is not the same numerically to Peloton but conversion charts are available online or can be bought from Etsy. Common complaints that I've read about (and experienced) are a knocking sound from the left pedal. The important things there are to install it carefully (it threads the opposite way as normal), to tighten the pedals periodically (once every month+ has been plenty), and at times to tighten the whole crank arm assembly with a socket.
I've used both this and a peloton bike and this one feels sturdier in my (biased) opinion, but you need to provide your own screen to use and apps (tablet, phone, or cast to a TV). The peloton definitely feels more like a premium experience, but this bike is much cheaper upfront and the monthly class fees are also substantially cheaper.

Question: Schwinn IC4 or Echelon EX-4S+ at Costco? Same price. IC4 is native Peloton compatible and does not come with a large touchscreen LCD; EX-4S+ needs a simple hack to be Peloton compatible and has a 15.6" screen.
