iconian strikes again! This is actually a pretty solid find. Lowest price ever on Amazon according to the triple-hump-horses. Tempted to grab just for a smaller bedroom setup that this would be more than enough for. Thanks, OP!

I would go with the Costco Denon over this.

This or Denon s760h?
My question is if the Denon worth the extract $80.

Found this here, https://www.reddit.com/r/homethea...maha_rxv4r
Also Amazon website lists Dolby Atmos as its feature, but according to the Q&A and some reviews, and crutchfield, it doesn't support Dolby Atmos.

Been looking for a budget receiver for awhile and this will work perfectly. The extra 10% back in points on my Amazon CC sweetens the deal. TY!

Advantage here goes to Yamaha for its ability for a pair Musiccast speakers as wireless rears, unlike its Heos counterpart.

that thread is a year old, has the issue been fixed? i scanned the recent reviews on amazon (i.e. a few months old) and there's no mention about this issue.

though im interested in a 2.1 system only, im considering this and the yamaha 301 @ 350

The issues are still present on anything produced pre summer 2021. Although, they do offer a fix for free but you have to send your unit in for repair. The caveat, you will only get 24gbps hdmi vs 40gbps that's required for 4k120 with HDR.

I bought this a couple of months ago. I have it paired with Klipsch RF 82 IIs, a Klipsch RC 62 II center and a pair of Klipsch RP 502S surrounds along with a BIC PL200 sub. Sounds amazing.

Just for giggles I also connected it to my Kef Q350s and it has plenty of power for them.

I have no interest in or room for any ATMOS speakers or even more surrounds for 7.1 so this seemed like a perfect option.

This was a price for a refurbished / open box on Accessories4less. I almost pulled tge trigger. New unit is a great deal

They also have X-series Denon for around the same price. Still torn between the two
