I always buy the tires from Discount Tires. Is Costco is better and a good deal to buy the tires or wait for more better deal? I can wait 2 more months to replace my car tires.

I just decided to grab a membership and buy from them over my usually cheaper ship/install route. Paid $1100 OTD for highly rated 80k tread life tires (Alenza Ultra) with install after the $150 off.

Chiming in as a 4x4 owner - a lot of guys like the damage warranty. You can punch a hole in the tire off-roading and they'll replace it.

I don't think Costco Tire has had tires in stock for any of my cars for the past 5 or so years, at least whenever I look.

Will probably end up going through Discount Tire anyway.

Costco will only install tires that were spec'd/sized by your vehicle manufacturer. I confirmed this by calling and in person.

This must vary by location, I had a Costco tire guy recommended a lager tire for our Jeep Patriot. So glad he did made the ride seem so much better
