Fyi, i paid about $200 less than this for a pair of the "Holahatha" knock offs of these and there are almost no discernible differences between those and the the Bowflex ones. They are out of stock but a single is $133 on Walmarts website currently (whether you can get one for that price when they come back in stock is a different story). I got mine off Target.com and was able to use multiple discounts.
Not a bad price. I have these and the weights are bulky. It's like you doing every exercise with weights the length of 100lb dumbbells. Some exercises are awkward using them.
This right here is something that's hard to explain but everyone should be considerate of. I only have the 50lb ones but feel the same way: some exercises just feel weird with this or I struggle a lot with. Standing shoulder presses and curls are the two things that, I can't do very well with these vs standard dumbbells of the same weights.

Saw that it was $134 for one or $539 for the pair 🤣

I bought a pair of these and a stand and really liked them, but after a couple years I sold them and bought powerblocks. My powerblocks only go up to 70 pounds, and there are some pros and cons, but I like them more mainly because they are not so bulky when doing lighter weights.

The bowflex dumbbells are a little unwieldy at times.

Also, maybe I'm a wimp with dainty hands lol, but I recommend getting tennis racquet wraps for these, at high weight the grips are not kind to your hands.

I bought a pair of these before the pandemic and they are great, very smooth and comfortable to use but the fact that it stays one size no matter the weight is in issue for me personally. I ended up selling these and buying smrtft nüobells. They are also adjustable dumbbells but the size gets smaller and bigger depending on the weight. Something to consider for anybody on the fence.

Agreed, these serve its purpose but if you use them often or an experienced lifter there are better alternatives. It's weird to do curls, overhead tricep extensions etc cause the dumbbells are so long. Doesn't really work well for isolation exercises in general.

Second this, the grips on mine are brutal as well. There is a guy who makes better grips and swaps plastic locking parts with metal machined parts, i cant remember the name off the top of my head (and they are not cheap)

Had these and the same experience. Some exercises feel very awkward. Sold them at cost and ended up getting PowerBlocks. Much better although you can't do goblet squats.

Zero chance you got this model for $200 new. Maybe the 552s.
