While I agree on the quality of this rice, if you don't follow the correct method even the high end won't give you the long fluffy cooked rice. Whatever cooking method you follow, please soak the rice an hour at least in cold water to get best outcome.

I use this rice for cooking pulavs/biryanis. Cant really make difference between premium brands vs this. May be these are not as aromatic as those premium brand basmati rice.

Again depends on how we soak and cook. Soak for longer and cook carefully without breaking to make it long and pluffy

This is a good everyday rice that cooks really well in rice cookers. You can always buy better rice if you pay more but I don't think you will notice a huge difference.

Agreed. Been using this rice forever and have also tried the Chefs premium version that is considered supposedly much better. We keep returning to this because this is still the better than the chefs version and price of the Chefs version wasn't worth the difference.
