This would be a very good value on audio system for home entertainment system. You could easily spend 10 times this amount on a system. You will need speaker wire for your connections. You can look at the manual for the speakers and see what type of plugs/wires are recommended. Then look at where in your living room you will be placing the speakers. Generally the wires are going to run to your amplifier/receiver. It has been about 7 years since I did this. I went with a Denon unit and it has been reliable thus far. I ordered the cables from Monoprice. They have good customer service and have very good quality wires for the money. You will need an HDMI wire to connect your receiver to your smart TV. If I had nothing and needed a reasonably priced set, I would seriously consider this.

It depends on the person listening.

These are Klipsch's entry level model.

Yes you will need speaker wire & a RCA cable for the subwoofer.
You can find them very reasonably priced on Amazon.

You will need a receiver to power the speakers.
Since this is a 5.1 package I would suggest looking to buy a used or open box receiver.

This will save a lot more money, just make sure it has the features you need.

How good are these speakers for a living room? Can anyone recommend receiver? Do we need to buy any additional wires? Thank you!

I can't get the link to work. When I add the item to the cart, I don't see the price drop.

Adorama is notorious for using special links for these deals. You can't find the specific deal by browsing their site. The provided link is working for me. Try turning off your ad blocker or any other plugins you might have on your browser.

I've had this exact set for about 2 years, it replaced an old Samsung home theater in a box I had. Couldn't be happier, I would buy this again. I paired it with an entry level Yamaha RXV385, however this would work too....

I have something similar in my home theater which were setup by previous owner. They work pretty good. The subwoofer is connected to the receiver via rocketfish bluetooth device which goes off sometimes when there is not enough bass content in the movie and then comes back. I am wondering if that can be fixed by replacing the Bluetooth receiver with a better one (or) somehow connect the subwoofer through wire.

Any insight is appreciated. Thanks !

I would think that the best possible connection would be by wire and that would be the first thing that I would try, if I were testing it. If that doesn't improve anything, then it would be the settings for your sub.
