Good deal. Some people prefer the non-extended Hobbit movies, but I like the extended versions.

Strange… The price changes from $30 to $34 when I login. I guess it gives me the "game pass price". Instead of the lower one.

Good deal. Best price since Vudu had 3 for $15 deal last year.

Same deal 3 months ago, although you had to be Xbox game pass member. I ended up rewatching the hobbit trilogy before starting the rings of power tv series. didn't get through rewatch of lord of the rings trilogy though.

I bet there is a market for shortened versions of the hobbit trilogy. Take 30-45min from each and you get better movies.

Any way to watch this without an Xbox?
Or anybody matching the price yet that doesn't require you to have specific hardware?

It looks like it supports playing the movies only on windows and Xbox devices so no support for Chromecast, fire tv, roku, etc. Not sure if it is compatible with movies anywhere either.
I bought a TV show from the Microsoft store earlier this year and I'm able to play it only on windows and Xbox devices.

Maybe a naive question. How do you play the content bought on Microsoft over the TV - can I use the Apple TV to stream to the Tv? Thanks

Never mind … my question did get answered.

Perhaps will have to wait for a different deal, as I don't own any Windows/PS consoles.

Thanks. I tried this already by linking my Microsoft account to movies anywhere but the TV show doesn't show up there. Maybe that show is locked down only to Microsoft based devices but I just wanted people to check if there are any restrictions for LOTR too.

Can anyone share their comments on the 4K quality of the movies. Particularly the Lord of the rings trilogy. Is it a significant upgrade?
